Personal  

Brian is an Oakland native and resident of Upper Rockridge.  His wife is Jill Santilena-Carrigan , originally from Winnepeg Manitoba Canada and is also a real estate agent with another local brokerage (Grubb Company.)  Brian went to High School in Alameda California and college in Woodside and Hayward California.  He obtained his California real estate license in 1998 but his interest in the real estate industry began when he purchased his first of many “fixer” homes at the age of 25 .    Prior to becoming a full time Realtor Brian spent 12 years at a commercial and residential construction company named ArcusStone LLC.   Brian was the contractors licence holder for ArcusStone and eventually went into business for himself.  He still holds a California contractors license No. 742235 to this date.  He has built new construction homes and has done several extensive rehab “fix and flip” projects.  During his real estate career, Brian was the Branch Manager of Prudential California Realty in Piedmont CA and has received several production awards since 1998.  He is also a member of the Council of Residential Specialists (CRS) and has undergone the training of Seniors Real Estate Specialists SRES.
